InterActive! storyboard: prototype vs. existing software
TASK
You are teaching a high school algebra class, and want
to prepare a short quiz for your students.
1.
Create a question that gives students a graph of the function
y = x2 and asks them to write 5 points from the graph in a blank
2x5 grid, like this one:
2.
You change your mind about which function to use for the first
question. Change it to y = x3
3.
Create a question that gives students a table of the following
5 points:
o (-2, 2), (-1, -0.5), (0,0), (1, 0.5) and (2,2)
And then asks them to:
o Plot the points on a blank set of axes
o Give a function whose graph includes those points
o Draw that function’s graph on the axes
4.
Add a link to the Texas Instruments website at the end of the
quiz (http://www.education.ti.com)
