of guidelines, user testing of prototypes
In
order to test how the guidelines manifest themselves, we created
three paper prototpye redesigns of NoteFolio, StudyCards, and InterActive.
We also created an interactive prototype of LearningCheck in Visual
Basic. We then tested these prototypes with users. Through that
testing, we were able to validate that our guidelines were useful
in clarifying the software, as well as make improvements to the
guidelines based on user data.
The
following storyboards will take you through the user's tasks, point
out changes, and point you to the guidelines which motivated those
changes.
