I coach startup executives and teach people to ask for what they want effectively.

I’ve spent 20+ years in the tech world pursuing big dreams: as a founder backed by top VCs, an operator at companies like Slack and Adobe, and now a coach and trusted confidant to startup founders and execs.

I know you’ve got big dreams for your work and life too. But you can’t achieve them alone! You need other people to make them real—and that’s where things get complicated.

Maybe you work with someone that’s been driving you nuts. Maybe you’ve been trying to sell others on your vision with middling results. Maybe you know you need help but aren’t sure where to start.

Whatever your challenge, we can address it by getting clear on what you want, asking for it with pride, accepting the response with grace, and trying again using what we learned.

Can you name what you want?
Have you asked for it proudly?
Did you accept the response graciously?
Will you ask again with what you learned?

If you answered no to any of these questions, you’ve got an opportunity to master asking for what you want effectively—and I’d love to help. To me it’s a tragedy how often we give up on our dreams by accident, and it’s my mission to change that.

Each week, my clients find the courage to confidently pursue their dreams big and small through building genuine relationships with others. But big dreams don’t come true overnight! They work towards those dreams gradually, by making peace with their failures along the way and discovering they can always find a hopeful path forward.

Sometimes that means letting go of relationships that aren’t working, and building better ones: quitting, or firing people, and moving on. Sometimes it means accepting others in all their imperfection and making the best of it: working through discomfort, rethinking their approach to influence, and ultimately building stronger relationships.

Either way, they find their people and build the genuine relationships with them they need to make their dreams real. Could I be one of your people? Let’s find out! Get to know me through my writing and speaking.
